Hope for Adoption's staff has over 25 years of adoption experience. We combine both professional and personal adoption experiences to provide the best support and guidance.

Hope for Adoption, Inc launched in 2006 as a non-profit licensed agency in the state of Georgia.  In 2008 they became dual licensed when they were approved by the state of Kansas as a child placing agency as well.  Currently, Hope for Adoption assists adoptive families and birth parents across the US.  Hope for Adoption was founded by Malcolm and Amy Young.  They are adoptive parents and professionals with a heart for helping others.  They are also the founders of Christian Adoption Consultants based in Atlanta, GA.  Hope for Adoption's staff has over 25 years of combined experience.  Hope for Adoption combines both professional and personal experience to provide the best support and service

Malcolm Young has worked in the human services and adoption field for 8 years now and currently serves as the Executive Director of Hope for Adoption.  He has a B.A. and B.S. from Kennesaw State University.

Amy Young has been in the adoption field for over 5 years now and currently serves as the Consulting Director of Hope for Adoption.  As a business major, Amy attended Gordon College and she comes from a background of over 7 years of corporate management and marketing experience.

 

Cheri Denmon, Adoption Caseworker Cheri holds a B.S. in Management from Jacksonville State University. She has over 7 years experience in Human Resources and over 13 years ministry experience. Her love for children and families is evident with each couple she assists through the adoption and home study process. Cheri also manages our Atlanta office, assist with compliance and manages Hope for Adoption's licensing files.

 

 

Gretchen McWhorter, Adoption Caseworker and Marketing Coordinator Gretchen and her husband, Justin, are proud adoptive parents.  Gretchen earned her bachelor's degree in journalism from Sanford University and has over 9 years experience in public relations and corporate communications.  In addition to casework, Gretchen serves as Hope for Adoption's communication and public relations coordinator.  She uses her vast professional experience with her personal connection to adoption to communicate Hope for Adoption's vision of helping others.

 

 

Hope for Adoption also has a support network of Adoption Attorneys, Christian Counselors, Churches, Support Ministries and Adoption Professionals that periodically provide assistance, guidance and support. This provides our couples a larger knowledge base and a level of support throughout a couple's adoption journey.
